About the Role At Get Code Staff, we bridge the gap between top-tier tech talent and the innovative companies that need them. We don't just send resumes; we build the engineering teams that power the future. We are looking for a dynamic Staff Account Manager to own the full lifecycle of our employer relationships—from client acquisition and onboarding to fulfillment and retention. Unlike a traditional Account Manager who only "checks in," this role is a hybrid of Client Partner and Talent Matchmaker. You will not only manage the relationship with hiring managers but also play a pivotal role in matching them with the perfect Contractors from our elite talent pool. If you thrive on solving complex staffing puzzles and building trust with both CTOs and Developers, this is your role. Key Responsibilities Employer Management (Client Side) Relationship Building: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of 15-25 employer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates. Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities to expand current accounts by introducing additional contractors or scaling existing development teams. Requirement Gathering: Conduct deep-dive discovery calls with hiring managers to understand not just the technical skills (e.g., Python, React, AWS), but the specific team culture and project dynamics. Negotiation: Manage contract renewals, rate negotiations, and Scope of Work (SOW) adjustments. Contractor Matching (Talent Side) Talent Curation: Review and assess developer/engineer profiles to ensure they meet the specific technical and soft-skill requirements of open positions. The "Match": Act as the strategic connector. You will propose candidates to clients based on a combination of technical fit, availability, and cultural alignment. Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless onboarding process for contractors, acting as their advocate within the client environment to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction. Operational Excellence Pipeline Management: Utilize our ATS/CRM to maintain accurate records of client interactions, job orders, and placement statuses. Conflict Resolution: Proactively mediate any performance or communication issues between the client and the contractor to ensure project success. What You Bring to the Table Experience: 3+ years of experience in Account Management, Staffing, or Recruitment (specifically in a B2B tech environment). Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a must. You need to know the difference between a Frontend and Backend engineer to have a credible conversation with our clients. The "Matchmaker" Instinct: You have a knack for understanding human dynamics. You don't just look at a resume; you evaluate if a developer will thrive in a specific team environment. Sales Acumen: Comfortable with upselling and cross-selling services to clients while maintaining a consultative, non-pushy approach. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to command a room with C-level executives while remaining approachable to freelancers. Why Join Get Code Staff? Impact: You are not just filling seats; you are directly responsible for shaping the engineering culture of our partner companies. Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance-based bonuses tied to placement and retention metrics. Culture: A fast-paced, high-energy environment where your decisions directly influence the bottom line. Growth: Opportunity to grow into a Team Lead or Director role as we scale our operations. Perks: [Insert Perks: Health Insurance, Unlimited PTO, Home Office Stipend, etc.] How to Apply Ready to connect great developers with great companies? Send your resume and a brief cover letter explaining your most successful "match" story to careers@getcodestaff.com.
